The things I care about most:
I believe in God: Almighty God’s grace, our Savior’s forgiveness of our sins, and the endless power of the Holy Spirit. I am Christian in deed, Trinitarian in view, Lutheran in church-going, deist in belief, Buddhist in value, evolutionist in thought, and accepting of anyone who aspires to do the right thing.
I love my family: Mom, Dad, brother, sister and brother-in-law. Without them I would be nothing. Here we are last Christmas:

I have recently been hired by the City of New Buffalo to be their Assistant to the City Manager. I love my job. I’m working in my chosen field for a wonderful, vibrant community.
I recently joined the ICMA (International City/County Management Association), and in doing so I have agreed to a code of ethics that preclude me from supporting politicians, candidates, and parties; however, I can hold positions on issues.
I believe in: human rights, spreading democracy, border integrity, fiscal responsibility, government debt is not the same as personal debt, pro-life, anti-death penalty, personal accountability, universal health care, human caused global warming is overstated, and environmentalism.
Art classes were the best two hours per week that I had between ages eight and fourteen. I still draw every once in a while.
